On May 9th students at several UC campuses, joined by community members, will initiate a hunger strike. They will demand that the UC Regents sever ties with the Los Alamos and Livermore nuclear weapons labs. This blog will chronicle their campaign.

THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH for taking this action! Every week my husband and I fast one day for peace; we will be in solidarity with you today. You give us much encouragement and inspiration, we hope you will remember that even in Kansas, the heart of the country, there are many like-minded individuals doing our best to raise the consciousness of those around us. There are many more of us than we know. Be encouraged, every action we take, every good intention we send out to the universe is another light in the darkness. Love is powerful and transformative, and every small step we take is helping the earth.
